The Day We Had Dreamed Of

We first came to Klinika Bocian in 2013, where Dr Grygoruk became our doctor. After several months of treatment, we underwent an embryo transfer performed by Dr Pietrzycki. It was a perfect success, and in June 2014 we became Pawełek’s parents. It was the most wonderful day of our lives.

Fate smiled on us for the second time on September 28, 2017. Jaś was born prematurely at 35 weeks by cesarean section. This time, however, there were complications. Because of complete placenta previa and placenta accreta, I had to spend a lot of time resting, and my doctor eventually decided that the baby needed to be delivered early.

Jaś was born with congenital pneumonia and severe anemia, requiring an immediate blood transfusion. His Apgar score was just 1. We spent many long weeks in the hospital, where Jaś slowly recovered. After weeks of rehabilitation and consultations with specialists, today there are no signs that he was born prematurely. He is a very lively little boy.

There are no words that could fully express our gratitude. From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank the entire team at Klinika Bocian, and especially Dr Grygoruk, who was always there to help us, and Dr Pietrzycki, who twice helped make our miracles possible.
